In the "Mary's World" tabs are some supplemental materials like recipes, songs, and photos that are referred to in the book, and were part of the original first draft of the novel.
This website has recorded songs, photos and descriptions of Brown's Gap where Mary Bird Mcallister and Granny Rowe lived and where Tom and Mary traveled to. It has a fascinating history to include being the area that academic and songcatcher Cecil Sharp collected songs. You can hear Marybird Mcallister singing.
